The Asian American Coalition of Chicago (AACC)

In January of 1984, thirteen prominent leaders from eight Asian American communities, including Chinese, Korean, Filipino, Indian, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, Pakistani communities gathered together to form an Asian American coalition.

The Filipino American Community is proud to host this year’s event. Aurora Abella-Austriaco, partner at Valentine, Austriaco & Bueschel; Past President of the Chicago Bar Association, Past President of the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers' Association and NAAAP National Board Member, will serve as Chair of the AACC Lunar New Year Gala.

This black-tie event is the largest annual celebration for the Asian American community in the Midwest. The event is attended by over 1200 Asian American community and business leaders, representing over 300 Asian Americanorganizations, corporate management and elected officials.
