Join the Asian American Coalition of Chicago (AACC) for the Asian Summit.
Our goal is to help our community thrive by connecting them with local and federal resources, promoting leadership, job creation and career opportunities to the Asian American community. This year it is the Filipino American Community which will host the community’s summit.
The Asian American Coalition of Chicago has traditionally held a week-long Asian American Festival at Chicago’s Richard J. Daley Center Plaza in the month of May, during Asian American Heritage Month. This year the coalition has decided to embark on an event that focuses on providing a bigger impact to the community.
The summit will have interactive workshops, networking opportunities, booths with representation from various organizations and corporations, and a job fair. The event will also feature resource experts from a variety of topics such from business and entrepreneurship, healthcare, law, immigration, financial literacy and more.
Aside from general audiences, numerous dignitaries traditionally attend the AACC festivities, including Asian consular corps, elected and appointed governmental officials, political candidates, top business and corporate leaders, and representatives from Chicago’s major ethnic media outlets.
